Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová has announced that temperatures will rise in the second half of the week, with summer temperatures expected to rise above 25°C this weekend. However, thunderstorms and showers are still expected.
“On Saturday and Sunday, there will be partly cloudy skies, with scattered thunderstorms or showers,” Honsová said.
On Thursday, the feast day of St. Medard, associated with the saying “St. Medard’s drops last for forty days,” the skies will be mainly cloudy, except for some occasional sunny breaks. Scattered thunderstorms or showers may occur in some areas. Temperatures will range from 21°C to 25°C.
Friday will be cloudy, with showers or thunderstorms expected throughout the day. Temperatures will range from 15°C to 25°C.
Saturday will be partly cloudy, with some scattered thunderstorms or showers expected, particularly in the eastern parts of the country. Temperatures will range from 11°C to 26°C. Sunday will have similar weather, with partly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms or showers in some areas. Temperatures will range from 11°C to 26°C.
From Monday to Wednesday, skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with occasional scattered thunderstorms or showers. Temperatures will range from 11°C to 24°C.
Despite the weather conditions, this weekend is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the summer temperatures and enjoy outdoor activities in the Czech Republic.
