Centrum Paraple is a non-profit organization founded by Czech playwright and actor Zdeněk Svěrák. Their mission is to provide support and assistance to individuals who have recently become paralyzed due to injury or illness and those who have been living with paralysis for a long time but are facing new challenges.
On Thursday, July 20th, Centrum Paraple will host an entertainment evening in Prague 10. The event will feature live music, stand-up comedy, and the screening of a Czech film called Známí neznámí. Attendees can also sample food and drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The event will take place in an intimate garden setting at Centrum Paraple. If the weather permits, a relaxation area, and picnic blankets will be available. However, in inclement weather, a “wet” option is also available. Admission to the event costs 150 CZK, and all profits will go to support Centrum Paraple’s mission.
In addition to this upcoming event, Centrum Paraple also provides ongoing support and resources to individuals with paralysis. They rely on the support of thousands of individuals who believe in the importance of solidarity and mutual aid.
