As we head into the new week, the Czech Republic is set to experience warm but predominantly cloudy weather. According to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová, the country can expect temperatures ranging between 10 and 15 degrees, particularly in the latter half of the week. However, the absence of sunshine will be noticeable, with the skies primarily overcast.
The week will kick off with the influence of a low-pressure area, leading to plenty of rainfall. On Tuesday, Moravia will see substantial rainfall, with estimates reaching 40 mm. Mountain regions may even witness snowfall.
As we move into Monday, the eastern parts of the country will experience rainfall, which will become more intense by the afternoon. Some regions could see up to 40mm of rainfall by Tuesday morning. Daytime temperatures will hover between 8 and 13 degrees Celsius.
Overcast or cloudy skies will continue into Tuesday, with rain in the east and possible snowfall at higher elevations. Morning temperatures will drop between 3 and 7 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will not reach as high as previous days, peaking between 7 and 11 degrees.
Midweek, on Wednesday, conditions will remain mostly cloudy, with scattered showers or rain and potential snowfall at higher altitudes. Morning temperatures will range from 2 to 6 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures between 7 and 11 degrees.
Towards the end of the week, expect a slight warm-up on Thursday, with temperatures between 10 and 14 degrees under cloudy to overcast skies. The weekend will see increasing cloudiness and occasional rain, but temperatures will continue to rise, with both weekend days expected to see between 12 and 16 degrees.
