Card transactions, including ATM withdrawals, increased by 23% year on year last week, up from 26% the previous week.
The prosperity index is based on data from Česká spořitelna as the bank with the most significant number of household customers. The figure shows year-on-year changes in the volume of card transactions—payments via terminals and payment gateways as well as ATM withdrawals – for each week.
Card transactions, including ATM withdrawals, increased by 23% last week compared to the previous year’s same period. The week before, it was up three percentage points. They were also up 23% from the same week in 2020, before the COVID.
Card withdrawals increased by 12% year on year, while card payment through terminals increased by 32%.
