Meteorologists say the heat will not leave us immediately. Even though a cold front will pass through the Czech Republic on Thursday, temperatures will drop only slightly in the western part of the country, meteorologist Dagmar Honsová said.
Temperatures in the east will continue to rise to 37 °C. From Monday onwards, hot air will penetrate the Czech Republic, and we can expect super tropics at the beginning of next week.
A cold front will affect Thursday’s weather, bringing thunderstorms. These will be sporadically strong, accompanied by hail, torrential rain, and wind gusts of around 70 km/h.
It will be cloudy to partly cloudy. Morning temperatures will range between 16 and 20 °C, with daytime temperatures in the west between 29 and 33 °C and the rest of the area between 33 and 37 °C. Showers or thunderstorms will occur in the afternoon and evening in Bohemia.
On Friday, a higher pressure will move into the Czech Republic. It will be clear to partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will range between 17 and 21 degrees Celsius; daytime temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees Celsius, with temperatures reaching 34 degrees Celsius in the southeast.
A cold front will arrive on Saturday, reducing high temperatures only slightly. It will be partly cloudy, with cloudy to cloudy skies during the day and showers, rain, and thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will range between 17 and 21 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will range between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Sunday will be clear to partly cloudy. Morning temperatures will range from 12 to 16 °C, with daytime temperatures from 27 to 31 °C.
Hot air from the southwest will penetrate the Czech Republic from Monday. Monday will be clear to partly cloudy. Morning temperatures will range between 13 and 17 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will range between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday will be clear to partly cloudy, with clouds and occasional showers or thunderstorms in Bohemia during the afternoon. Morning temperatures will range from 16 to 20 °C, with daytime temperatures from 31 to 35 °C.
Wednesday will be cloudy to cloudy with showers in places. Morning temperatures will range between 13 and 17 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees Celsius.
