The first half of the new week will bring all-day fog and low clouds. We’ll be pulling out the umbrellas on Thursday. A temperature jump awaits, especially in mountainous areas – it will start snowing on their peaks on Thursday, meteorologist Dagmar Honsová said.
On Monday, the weather will be marked by low clouds and fog, dissipating at lower altitudes around noon or persisting throughout the day. In the afternoon, places will be partly cloudy or almost transparent. A drizzle may fall from the low clouds. Temperatures will be above average with sunny skies, between 9 and 14 °C, but they will be much cooler under low clouds, around 8 °C.
Tuesday will follow a similar pattern. It will be overcast with low clouds and foggy, with some cloud cover. Morning temperatures of 5 to 1 °C, with low clouds around -1 °C. Temperatures during the day range from 8 to 12 °C, with low clouds around 6 °C.
Wednesday will be overcast with low clouds and drizzle, with only partly cloudy conditions in some places. High clouds will increase during the day, and rain will occur in some areas later in the west. Morning temperatures range from 6 to 2 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures range from 6 to 10 °C.
Thursday will be cloudy to overcast, with occasional rain or showers and snow showers gradually falling on the northern and northeastern mountain peaks. Morning temperatures range from 6 to 1 degree Celsius. Daytime highs range between 5 and 9 °C.
Friday should be cloudy, with rain or showers over most of the area and mixed or snow showers on the mountaintops. Morning temperatures range from 3 to -1 degrees Celsius—temperatures during the day range from 4 to 8 °C.
Saturday will be cloudy to overcast with occasional rain or showers, with snow showers on the mountains. Morning temperatures range from 2 to -2 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures range between 4 and 8 °C.
Sunday will be cloudy to overcast again, with occasional showers and snow in the mountains. Temporarily partly cloudy. Morning temperatures are 2 to -2 °C. Daytime temperatures are 4 to 8 °C.
