On December 2, 2023, a truly magical event occurred in Prague’s heart. At 23:20, amidst a serene snowfall, the Christmas tree at the Old Town Square was lit, creating a scene straight out of a fairytale.

The Christmas tree lighting at the Old Town Square is a beloved tradition. Yet, this year’s event was particularly enchanting. With continuous snowfall setting a winter wonderland ambiance, the event seemed to be a page from a beloved fairytale, Cinderella.

The sounds of the holiday season filled the air as music from the popular Czech film Cinderella (Popelka) played in the background. This cinematic touch added a sense of nostalgia and charm, making the event even more special.
