The website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, including the portal for benefits processing, faced a hacker attack on Tuesday, causing disruptions in its availability.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MPSV) became the target of a DDoS attack focused on DNS services. “As a result, our external internet services are not working,” the office announced on Tuesday morning.
The unavailability was reported on the ministry’s website at www.mpsv.cz and the Client Zone Jenda, through which people process and administer benefits.
The ministry has asked users for patience and apologized for the complications.
DDoS attacks are among the most commonly used in cyber warfare and are parallel to the conflict in Ukraine. A significant portion of these attacks on our territory comes from Russia.
