Planned Disruptions on Prague’s Metro Line C during Easter Holidays

Disruptions on Prague’s Metro Line C from Thursday to Monday will affect the I. P. Pavlova – Nádraží Holešovice route. The Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) will perform maintenance work during the Easter holidays, traditionally marked by reduced public transportation usage.

During the disruption, DPP plans to replace 1059 sleepers. Passengers must rely on replacement bus services, primarily the XC route, which travels along the main arterial roads and connected routes.

In addition to the bus service, an alternative tram connection, route 36, will be available during the day. The tram will travel the Zvonařka – I. P. Pavlova – Karlovo náměstí – Václavské náměstí – Masarykovo nádraží – Florenc – Křižíkova – Invalidovna – Palmovka – Bulovka – Kobylisy – Ládví – Sídliště Ďáblice route.

Aside from this disruption, on Sunday evening after 8 PM, services between Kačerov and Háje stations will be interrupted. The transit provider plans to modernize the security equipment in this section.

Buses on the XC route will also ensure replacement transport during this time. These scheduled disruptions and maintenance works are part of DPP’s efforts to keep Prague’s public transportation system in top condition and ensure a smooth ride for all passengers.
