The first week of October brings sunny days and temperatures up to 29°C. Although a cold front with rain is expected on Wednesday, temperatures will gradually rise again from Thursday. For now, the autumn weather will only remind us of its presence with morning mists, according to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová.
The maximum temperatures will reach 27°C and 29°C on Monday and Tuesday, thanks to warm southwestern winds. Both days will be partly cloudy or explicit, with occasional morning fog or low clouds.
“Even at 1000 meters above sea level, temperatures will remain high – around 18°C,” she mentioned.
A colder air mass will arrive on Wednesday, bringing more cloudiness and sporadic showers. Temperatures will range between 12°C and 8°C in the morning and 15°C and 19°C during the day.
After that, the mercury will start rising again. Thursday is expected to be partly cloudy to overcast with isolated showers and morning temperatures of 8°C to 4°C, followed by values of 16°C to 20°C during the day.
Friday will also be partly cloudy, with morning fog and low cloudiness in some areas. Temperatures will be similar to Thursday.
Expect morning mists and low cloudiness throughout the rest of the week, but in tandem with increasing temperatures. Saturday will see temperatures of 20°C to 24°C, and Sunday will reach up to 25°C.
