With more snow at the end of the week, it will continue to freeze

The next few days are likely to be very changeable. It will snow on Friday, and then we will have a sunny weekend. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová said.

“After Friday’s snowfall, the fourth Advent weekend will be sunny in places; an area of high air pressure will pass over central Europe,” said meteorologist Dagmar Honsová.

On Thursday, snow showers will be sporadic, and the northwest will be partly cloudy. Otherwise, it will be cloudy with isolated snow showers. The thermometer will show highs of -4 to 1 °C.

Friday will again see heavy snowfall, especially in the southeast, with 5 to 15 cm of snow falling. It will be cloudy to overcast, with snow showers in some places and snow in the southeast and south. Precipitation will decrease in the evening from the northwest. Morning temperatures will drop to -3 to -7 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will reach -3 to 1 °C.

The weekend will be sunny but icy, and the lowest morning temperatures will drop well below freezing again.

On Saturday, it will be down to -7 to -11 degrees. It will be partly cloudy or nearly clear, with snow showers in some places, especially in the mountains in the northeast early in the day. Temperatures will remain below freezing at -5 to -1 degrees throughout the day.
