348 New Coronavirus Cases on Wednesday

There were 348 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the Czech Republic on Wednesday. The number has been steadily decreasing.

The EU has not removed the UK from its list of countries to travel to only in the most urgent cases because of a surge in cases, where the Indian mutation of the coronavirus known as delta is spreading.

Prime Minister Andrej Babis tweeted that a record for vaccinations had fallen. The vaccine was given to 109,861 people in one day. He also announced the opening of vaccination registrations for people aged 16-29, starting Thursday at midnight.
