The Czech Republic is in for a weather change this weekend, with temperatures expected to drop and thunderstorms coming back. However, the cold front will be short-lived, as temperatures are expected to rise again next week.
Thursday will bring summer temperatures, clear or partly cloudy skies, and up to 15 hours of sunshine. Maximum temperatures will reach 23-28°C.
On Friday, it will be partly cloudy in the morning, with increasing cloudiness from the west in the afternoon and evening thunderstorms or rain in some areas. Morning temperatures will drop to 12-16°C, while daytime temperatures will rise to 26-30°C, with cooler temperatures in the west.
Saturday will see mostly cloudy skies and rain, with thunderstorms in most areas. There may be partly cloudy skies in some regions of Bohemia. Morning lows will be between 13-17°C, with 20-25°C highs during the day.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy or partly cloudy, with rain or showers in some areas in the morning. Morning lows will be 12-16°C, with 22-27°C highs during the day. Winds could reach speeds up to 55 km/h.
Monday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with scattered showers or thunderstorms in some areas in the afternoon. Morning temperatures will remain between 12-16°C, rising to 23-27°C in the afternoon.
Tuesday will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with scattered showers possible. Morning temperatures will remain between 12-16°C, rising to 24-28°C during the day.
Wednesday will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with morning temperatures between 12-16°C and afternoon temperatures rising to 25-29°C.
