From the 1st of July, the maximum number of participants in cultural events will be increased to 5,000 outdoors and up to 2,000 indoors, with certain measures. Prime Minister Andrej Babis revealed this in a video posted on social media (June 13th). Currently, 1000 people can attend indoor cultural events and 2000 people can attend outdoor cultural activities.
However, as of Monday, June 14th, the capacity outside the premises will be unrestricted, and the organizers will still be able to use only half of the capacity for indoor halls. Only seated viewers will be able to sit inside. Outside standing tickets will be available, provided that each spectator has four square meters.
In most regions, save for South Bohemian, Zlín, and Liberec, schoolchildren and teachers are not required to wear respirators or masks while learning. The requirement to cover one’s nose and mouth still remains in the school’s public spaces.
