The government on Wednesday approved additional military equipment for Ukraine. Deputy Prime Minister Vít Rakušan (STAN) announced this without specifying security reasons. However, the Czech Republic will provide material worth approximately CZK 725 million, according to an earlier statement by defense chief Jana Černochová.

“The government approved further aid today without further specification,” Rakušan said after the cabinet meeting, adding that the aid was again military equipment.

So far, the state has provided weapons worth CZK 725 million, with additional deliveries planned for a similar sum, Černochová previously stated.

The cabinet members did not specify the material for security reasons, but it will be based on a list requested by the Ukrainian government.
