The start of spring will be cooler, but temperatures will quickly head up

After a relatively cool start to the astronomical spring, which falls on Sunday, temperatures will begin to rise noticeably next week. Temperatures could reach 17 °C on Wednesday. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová told today.

“Astronomical spring starts on Sunday, March 20. However, this weekend will also be mostly sunny but below average in temperature. By the end of the week, we will again be fully under the influence of a pressure high centered over the North Sea, and cold air will penetrate here from the east, “Honsová described the outlook for the rest of the week.

Friday will be cloudy to overcast, with isolated showers and morning temperatures ranging from 3 to -1 degrees Celsius early in the day. During the day, the sky should be clear to partly cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 8 to 12 °C.

On Saturday and Sunday, clear to partly cloudy skies should prevail. Morning temperatures will drop to -2 to -6°C on both weekends, with -8°C possible on Sunday. During the day, temperatures will range from 6 to 10 °C.
