We had the pleasure of sitting down with Tony to discuss his career, his experiences working on these popular shows, and his passion for the performing arts.

Q: When did you first realize you wanted to become an actor?

I attended two acting summer schools when I was 14 years old, and that’s when I fell in love with acting. I loved being able to embody different characters and express myself through them. It was then that I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the performing arts.

Q: You’ve starred in several hit shows, including Shadow and Bone, Das Boot, Btaři, and Revír. Can you tell us about your experience working on these projects?

Each project was a unique experience, and I learned much from each. Shadow and Bone was my first significant role in an American show, and it was a great learning experience. I loved the fantasy world the show created and was thrilled to be a part of it. Das Boot was also an incredible experience, allowing me to explore a different period and language. Btaři and Revír were both Czech productions, and working with fellow Czech actors and filmmakers was great.

Q: You speak Czech, English, and German. How has your language proficiency helped you in your acting career?

Being able to speak multiple languages has opened up more opportunities for me. It’s allowed me to work on Czech and international productions, which has broadened my acting range. It’s also helped me connect with more people in the industry, which is vital in this line of work.

Q: You’re also skilled in tactical shooting and martial arts, including MMA. Have these skills helped you in your roles?

Absolutely. Being physically fit and trained in combat sports has helped me in the film industry. It’s also helped me differentiate myself from other actors and keep me versatile as a candidate for different roles.

Q: What do you hope to achieve in your acting career?

I hope to continue challenging myself as an actor and taking on various roles. Ultimately, I would love to be a part of Hollywood films and work with some of the industry’s top talents. However, I know that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to making it to that level, and I am grateful for every opportunity that comes my way.

Q: What advice do you have for aspiring actors?

My advice is to never give up on your dreams and stay humble and focused on your craft. It’s essential to put in the hard work and keep pushing yourself to improve, but it’s also important to remember that success is not always immediate or guaranteed. And most importantly, to always stay true to yourself and your passions.
