The Prague 1 tram line between Jindřišská and Lazarská will undergo repairs, affecting a total of 12 tram lines. The maintenance work will commence on Monday, October 30, and is expected to be completed by November 10.
During the repair period, people in the city center will need to use metro lines or walk, as the affected section will have special stops at Dlážděná and Lazarská.
Tram lines passing through the affected section will be redirected to alternative routes or split into different line numbers.
- Line 3 will be diverted from Bílá labuť to Lazarská via Náměstí Republiky, Staroměstská, and Národní třída.
- Line 5 will be split into two parts. From Slivenec, it will be diverted from Jiráskovo náměstí to Národní divadlo, Lazarská, and then continue back towards Slivenec.
From Vozovny Žižkov, it will be diverted from Hlavní nádraží to Dlážděná, Masarykovo nádraží, and then continue as Line 24 towards Vozovna Kobylisy.
- Line 6 will be split into two parts. From Kubánské náměstí, it will be shortened to Lazarská and then continue as Line 9 towards Sídliště Řepy.
From Vysočanská, it will be shortened to Masarykovo nádraží, from where it will continue as Line 9.
Tram Changes between Jindřišská and Lazarská
- Similarly, Line 9 will be split into two parts. From Sídliště Řepy, it will be shortened to Lazarská and then continue as Line 6 towards Kubánské náměstí or Line 14 towards Spořilov.
From Spojovací, it will be diverted from Hlavní nádraží to Dlážděná, Masarykovo nádraží, and then continue as Line 6 towards Vysočanská or Line 14 towards Vozovna Kobylisy.
- Line 14 will be split into two parts. From Spořilova, it will be shortened to Lazarská and then continue as Line 9 towards Sídliště Řepy.
From Vozovna Kobylisy, it will be shortened to Masarykovo nádraží, from where it will continue as Line 9.
- Line 24 will be shortened from Vozovna Kobylisy to Masarykovo nádraží, which will continue as Line 5.
These route changes will also affect night lines 91, 92, 94, 95, 96, 98, and historical Line 42.
