Up to 20 °C can be expected during the sunny week

The first week of spring will be sunny and warm. Afternoon temperatures will be near 20 °C, and temperature records may be broken. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová said.

“The weather in our country will be under the influence of a strong pressure from the northeast, gradually moving over central Europe,” Honsová described the weather development this week.

Although Monday morning was cold and frosty in some places, temperatures will go up quickly under clear skies and reach 10 to 14°C in the afternoon. It will remain clear on Tuesday. Morning lows will range from 1 to 5 degrees Celsius, while afternoon highs will range from 13 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday will bring no change. Clear skies and morning temperatures ranging from 0 to -4 °C will be accompanied by daytime highs ranging from 15 to 19 °C.

Clear skies will prevail on Thursday, with lows between 2 and -2 °C and afternoon temperatures ranging from 15 to 19 °C.

Partly cloudy or almost clear conditions should prevail for the rest of the week. On Friday morning, temperatures will drop to between 2 and -2 °C. The daytime highs will range from 14 to 18 °C.
