People in isolation or quarantine because of the coronavirus can vote at one of 82 drive-in stations starting Wednesday. Exactly how many people are affected is not clear from the data published by the authorities.

According to data from the Czech Social Security Administration and the Health Ministry, a total of 7,900 people now have the covid-19 disease, and 2,223 employees and tradespeople who pay for health insurance are quarantined with electronic sick leave.

You can vote from your car at the drive-in station from 8 am to 5 pm. Stations are available in every county and can be found on an interactive map. A voter ID card can still be applied for at the municipal office of the home municipality until Wednesday if a person wants to vote outside of their place of residence.

In residential facilities such as LDN, social services, or homes for the elderly, which will be closed at that time by order of the regional health station, it will be possible to vote from Thursday between 8 am, and 10 pm until Friday between 8 am and 6 pm.

The county will send an Election Commission to the facilities to canvass them during the designated times. Employees may also vote.
