More than 100 people gathered in the center of Prague on Sunday to protest against the accelerated approval of the mining contract for the Polish brown coal mine of Turów.

The event, called #StopTurów: Money Can’t Drink, was organized by Greenpeace. It is also protesting against the Czech Republic’s withdrawal of a lawsuit at the Court of Justice of the European Union in exchange for financial compensation.
