The new week in Czechia is set to start with scorching temperatures surpassing 30 degrees Celsius. However, by Tuesday, some parts of the country will experience thunderstorms. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová has forecasted that the weather will return to sunny conditions with temperatures around 30 degrees, followed by more showers and thunderstorms on Friday and over the weekend.
Monday, we will see a sunny sky accompanied by intense heat. The skies will be clear to partly cloudy, thanks to a high-pressure area, with occasional morning fogs. Sunshine will last up to 14 hours, with afternoon temperatures ranging from 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.
On Tuesday, cloudy to partly cloudy skies are expected, with showers or thunderstorms in some areas. By the afternoon, cloudiness and precipitation will decrease in the west. Morning temperatures will range from 19 to 14 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will rise from 25 to 29 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with morning temperatures similar to Tuesday, but it will be warmer in the afternoon. Some areas will see temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, with the southeastern regions reaching up to 33 degrees Celsius.
Thursday is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with morning temperatures again between 19 and 14 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures will range from 27 to 31 degrees Celsius.
As the workweek concludes, Friday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with occasional showers or thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will be between 19 and 14 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will range from 27 to 31 degrees Celsius, reaching up to 33 degrees Celsius in southern Moravia.
Saturday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with occasional showers or thunderstorms. Morning temperatures will remain unchanged, between 19 and 14 degrees Celsius and afternoon temperatures will reach 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.
Sunday’s weather will mirror Saturday’s, with occasional showers or thunderstorms and daytime temperatures reaching 32 degrees Celsius.
