Hello Bank!, operated by BNP Paribas Personal Finance, has announced that it is suspending its activities in the Czech Republic. From Monday, the Bank said it would stop creating new products, such as loans or current accounts.
The process will be gradual and managed over the coming months, and the Bank has reassured existing customers that they will still have access to all of its services.
According to BNP Paribas Personal Finance, the decision to suspend activities in the Czech Republic follows a thorough analysis of all available opportunities in the Czech market in the interest of clients, partners, and employees.
Hello Bank! has been operating in the Czech banking market since the end of 2017, changing its name and business model after 20 years of working under Cetelem.
