Police officers from the Hradec Králové Region are searching for a man who was allegedly harassing young boys in villages of Trutnov and Červený Kostelec. He first approached children under the pretext of repairing a bicycle, then harassed them differently.
“Several parents of boys aged between 10 and 15 who met the man independently have contacted the police since last week,” police spokeswoman Iva Kormošová said.
Police officers immediately began searching for the man, and thanks to CCTV footage, they were able to obtain his likeness. However, they still do not know his identity. They are therefore appealing to the public for help. The photograph provided is not complete, but the man’s face is visible.
According to Kormošová, a suspect is between 30 and 40, approximately 170 centimeters tall. He has a rusty beard and speaks Czech. “He was supposed to be wearing a black and red cycling jersey and gloves, cycling glasses with green frames and orange-yellow lenses, and a white and red helmet. He should be on a mountain full-suspension bicycle in black and red, ” she described.
Officers are also appealing to parents to remind their children of the policy not to talk to strangers, take gifts from them or go anywhere with them.
