Meteorologists predict a drop in temperatures after the election weekend

The weekend will probably bring the last sunny days to the Czech Republic. Although the morning hours will be frosty in most parts of the country, the weather is expected to be good with low clouds and temperatures up to 15 °C throughout the day.

A more significant drop in temperature, according to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová, can be expected next week, when it should already be snowing on the mountain tops. Waves of cold air from the east will start to affect the weather.

On Saturday, the sky will be apparent to partly cloudy. While fogs or low clouds and many ground touches of frost can be seen in the morning, during the day, temperatures will range from 11 to 15 degrees Celsius. The weather will continue to be partly cloudy on Sunday, with another cold morning. Still, the temperature could drop at night to 2° C. Rain may fall during the day due to increased cloud cover, but temperatures will rise to 14 ° C in the afternoon.

The weather will start to cool down from Monday, while occasional rain mixed with snow in the mountains will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday. The day’s most high temperatures will only reach 7 to 11 ° C.
