Prague removed a Christmas tree from Old Town Square

On Monday, Prague City Technology workers removed an approximately 22-meter-high Christmas tree from Old Town Square, which arrived at the square at the end of November from Dolní Černá Studnice in the Jablonec region. But after it has fulfilled its decorative function, it will not come to anything.

While animals from the Prague Zoo will enjoy the branches, the trunk will be used by the Jarov Vocational Secondary School apprentices to make furniture for Prague’s social and residential facilities.
