From spring back to winter, this week’s weather will look like. Meteorologist Dagmar Honsová said Arctic air will enter the Czech Republic, which will return the temperature to its winter character — morning frost, ice, and snow showers. During the week, it will cool off by up to 15 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures will rise to 21 °C on Monday due to a warm westerly flow. Temperature records may be rewritten. The one in Klementinum in Prague dates back to 1986 when 20.6 °C was measured there. It will be clear or almost transparent at the beginning of the day. Clouds will start to increase in the afternoon. Temperatures in the afternoon will range between 19 and 21 °C.

On Tuesday, there will be a lot more clouds. It will be cloudy to overcast, with only patchy, partly cloudy conditions. Showers are expected in the north, particularly during the day. But rainfall totals will remain low. The temperature interface will cause significant temperature differences. Afternoon temperatures in the Liberec region will range from 10 °C to 18 °C in the South Moravian region.

Meteorologists predict cloudy to overcast conditions on Wednesday. Rain or showers will occur in some places, with mixed or snowy precipitation on the mountain tops. Temperatures will drop to 6 to 2 °C in the morning. Temperatures will range between 9 and 13 °C during the day, with gusts to around 15 °C in the southeast.

Thursday will be cloudy, with rain or showers in places and snow showers in the mountains, gradually starting from higher elevations during the day. Temperatures will drop to 5 to 1 degrees Celsius in the morning and rise to 5 to 9 degrees Celsius during the day.

Friday will be cloudy, with rain and snow showers in the middle positions. Temperatures will drop to 1 to 3 °C in the morning and rise to 3 to 7 °C during the day.
