Today, the government should address travel and garden opening conditions.

The rules for traveling to neighboring countries during a coronavirus pandemic or the conditions for opening restaurant gardens should be discussed by the government at today’s meeting.

The Minister of Health, Petr Arenberger (for ANO), announced on Thursday that from Saturday, the Czech Republic will recognize mutual confirmation of vaccination against covid-19 with Poland, Hungary, Austria, and Germany.

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) spoke about Slovenia in the Chamber of Deputies last week. Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhánek (ČSSD) will hold talks in Poland today with his counterparts from the Visegrad Four countries (V4 – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary). Kulhánek will have a press conference in the afternoon at the Černín Palace with Deputy Minister Martin Smolek.

Restaurant gardens

The Cabinet called on the Chamber of Commerce to clarify the rules for opening restaurant gardens. For example, it is unclear how guests will be required to have a negative coronavirus test, a complete vaccination, or proof of the disease in the last 90 days.

The gardens are to be open from Monday. According to current information, the wi-fi network should not be switched on, and music should not be played on them.
