Cloudy and rainy weather will continue at the beginning of the new week, with possible snowfall on mountain tops on Wednesday. However, we can expect sunny weather and pleasant spring temperatures for the upcoming weekend, according to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová. She added that temperatures would reach 20°C on the weekend.
“In the first half of the week, our weather will still be influenced by low pressure from the southeast, so there will be a lot of clouds and precipitation, which will gradually be replaced by a higher pressure front from the north, leading to a decrease in cloudiness,” Honsová said. She also mentioned that there would be snow on mountaintops in the middle of the week.
The upcoming weekend, however, is expected to be sunny, and “temperatures will also rise, and on the weekend, we will record the first 20-degree day in April,” the meteorologist added.
On Monday, the Czech Republic can expect cloudy to overcast skies with scattered showers or rain. The morning temperature will range between 2 and 6°C, while it will rise to 11 to 15°C during the day.
Tuesday will also be cloudy to overcast, with scattered showers or rain in most of the country. Morning temperatures will be between 3 and 7°C, rising to 11 to 15°C during the day.
Wednesday will see cloudy to overcast skies with occasional rain or showers, which may still be mixed or snowy on mountaintops. The morning temperature will range between 3 and 7°C, with temperatures between 9 and 13°C during the day.
Thursday will be cloudy to partly cloudy, with only occasional showers in the mountains. Morning temperatures will be between 3 and 7°C, while daytime temperatures will be between 11 and 15°C.
Friday will be partly cloudy, with occasional showers in the mountains when clouds temporarily increase. Morning temperatures will be between 3 and 7°C, while temperatures during the day will rise to 14 to 18°C.
The upcoming weekend will be characterized by pleasant spring weather. Saturday will be partly cloudy, with morning temperatures between 3 and 7°C and daytime temperatures between 14 and 18°C. Sunday will also be partly cloudy, with morning and daytime temperatures similar to Saturday’s.
