The Central Military Hospital (ÚVN) on Monday responded to a letter from Senate President Miloš Vystrčil (ODS) regarding the health of President Miloš Zeman. The hospital will not disclose details.
“Today, on 18 October 2021, at 9:00 a.m., the director of the ÚVN, Professor Miroslav Zavoral, sent an official reply to the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, prepared with all the weight of responsibility,” ÚVN spokeswoman Jitka Zinke said on Monday.
“The ÚVN will not publish the content of the reply to comply with legal provisions,” she said, along with thanking specialists in the field of medicine and leading experts in constitutional law for their cooperation.
Zeman is hospitalized at the ÚVN. The castle does not comment on his health condition.
