The weather forecast for the upcoming week promises above-average temperatures accompanied by a fresh, strong wind. According to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová, this combination creates ideal conditions for kite flying.
On Monday, the sky will be partly cloudy to overcast. Some areas may experience fog or low cloud cover in the morning, which could persist throughout the day in certain eastern regions. Later in the evening, cloudiness will increase from the west. Daytime temperatures will remain relatively high, ranging from 14 to 19°C. In the southern part of the country, temperatures may even reach 20°C, while areas covered by fog will see temperatures around 12°C. As the evening progresses, the wind will intensify, reaching speeds of 70 to 90 km/h on the Českomoravská vrchovina and in the northeastern part of the country. Overnight, rain showers will gradually spread from west to east.
Tuesday will be cloudy, with occasional breaks in precipitation and cloud cover during the afternoon. Morning temperatures will range from 13 to 8°C, with daytime temperatures reaching 10 to 14°C. However, the wind will create a lower perceived temperature, with gusts of 70 to 90 km/h in the eastern regions.
Wednesday’s weather will be mostly cloudy to partly sunny, with isolated rain showers. Fog or low cloud cover may appear in the morning, and morning temperatures will range from 9 to 5°C. During the day, temperatures will reach 11 to 16°C.
Thursday will bring partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. In the morning, there may be fog or low cloud cover in some areas. Morning temperatures will range from 8 to 3°C, while daytime temperatures will reach 12 to 16°C.
In the afternoon, windy conditions can be expected in the eastern part of the country, with gusts of up to 70 km/h on flatlands and up to 90 km/h in mountainous areas.
Friday will see the passage of another front, resulting in overcast skies and the possibility of rain. Morning temperatures will range from 10 to 6°C, and daytime temperatures will reach 10 to 14°C. Initially, there will be strong winds in the eastern regions, with gusts of up to 70 km/h, and up to 90 km/h in mountainous areas.
The first weekend of November is expected to bring relatively pleasant weather. Skies will be partly cloudy, with occasional fog or low cloud cover in the morning. However, additional cloudiness and rain are expected in the afternoon on Sunday. Morning temperatures will range from 9 to 5°C, and afternoon temperatures will reach 11 to 16°C.
