Prague Zoo started breeding Tasmanian wombats. The first to arrive was Cooper

Jan Handrejch

This week, visitors to Prague Zoo will get their first glimpse of Cooper the wombat in his new enclosure in Darwin’s Crater. The year-old male arrived at the zoo in the Czech capital in early December, but until now, he has been in mandatory quarantine and staying in the backstage area.

The Troja Zoo will present him in the exhibition dedicated to Australian and Tasmanian fauna on Saturday at noon.
