A premiere of the film, which will tell about the future of the family of English aristocrats and their servants, is due to take place during this Christmas.
“Downton Abbey” is the series that is set in a fictional aristocratic residence. The story begins in 1912 with news of the Titanic’s sinking and continues until the 1920s. The previous sixth season was broadcast by the British television channel ITV in the fall of 2015. The series received “Golden Globe” and “Emmy” awards and was released in 150 countries, including the Czech Republic.
The script for the next part of Downton Manor is again written by Julian Fellowes, and all the familiar famous actors should appear on the screen. In addition, the film will star Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock and Dominic West.
According to producer Gareth Neame, they wanted to delight fans with a new season that will be more exciting than the previous ones. After a very difficult year, when many have had no contact with friends and family, it is good to think that there are better times ahead and that the show and favorite characters will be a nice gift on Christmas Eve.
