Vojtěch is planning to ease restrictions

Further restriction loosening is planned by Czech Health Minister Adam Vojtěch (ANO). It should concern the testing of children, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) said on Friday without further details in a pre-election debate.

“On Monday, the health minister would table another waiver – testing for children,” the prime minister said.

Children were tested three times at the beginning of the school year. However, as only a fraction were infected, the widespread testing was not continued.

Tests in addition to vaccination and passing the covid serve as confirmation of infection-free status. This is needed, for example, when visiting a restaurant, cultural or sporting event.
