Two trucks collided on Monday morning on the Prague ring road near Jesenice. One overturned in the accident, causing the injury of two people.
The accident happened on the 2nd kilometer of the Prague Ring Road in the direction of Ruzyně after 11 a.m. Two units of firefighters from the Central Bohemia Region and one from Prague went to the spot.
“It is an accident of two trucks, one of which is on its side. The firefighters did not have to rescue anyone. Still, they had to ensure the pumping of diesel, “firefighters’ spokeswoman Tereza Fliegerová said, adding that the ring road was closed in that direction.
She mentioned that two people had been injured, with minor injuries likely. According to the traffic information server, complications on the road will probably continue until 3 p.m. Traffic jams are forming, reaching as far as the D1 motorway.
