Six people were injured this afternoon in a collision between a bus and a car between the villages of Ořechov and Hajany in the Brno region. One man was seriously injured and transported to a hospital by helicopter. Five injuries were minor. Police spokesman Pavel Šváb and rescue spokeswoman Barbora Truksová Zuchová revealed.
“We transported him by helicopter to the emergency room at the Bohunice hospital. In the other five cases, the injuries were minor. Three people were left on the spot after treatment, while the other two slightly injured were transported to the hospital, Truksová Zuchová said.
Police closed the road between Ořechov and Hajany. “We are diverting traffic. It will take about two more hours,” Šváb added.
