On Monday, an unusual awakening was experienced by a drunken man who made his bed in Benešova Street in Brno next to the parking barrier. The driver of the car, who, according to her words, did not see him, would have run him over.
The officer behind the cameras first noticed the man lying in the parking lot, who sent a patrol to the scene to see if the man had any problems.
Before the officers could reach him, tragedy nearly struck. A 46-year-old woman, who said she did not see the man, made her way to the parking spot.
Officers gave him first aid and called for paramedics. A breath test showed 4.1 promille of alcohol. The ambulance service took the man away, and police officers are further investigating the case.
